Senior Infrastructure & Authorities Approvals Manager - Abu Dhabi

Job Description

AERTEC is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Authorities Approvals Manager to lead infrastructure projects and regulatory coordination and authority interface management across major aviation projects in the UAE and GCC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full authority approvals lifecycle, including Design NOCs, Construction NOCs, Building Permits, Environmental Approvals, Traffic Impact Studies, and final authority acceptance certificates.
• Develop and implement authority engagement strategies to streamline submissions, reduce approval timelines, and mitigate regulatory risks.
• Track approval status, maintain authority logs, and proactively resolve technical and regulatory bottlenecks.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary infrastructure design (roads, utilities, drainage, power, telecom, airside and landside networks), ensuring compliance with local codes, airport regulations, and authority standards.
• Monitor and control infrastructure project progress, deliverables, schedules, and design milestones in coordination with Project Managers and technical leads.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related technical discipline.

10+ years of professional experience in infrastructure projects, with strong exposure to authority approvals and regulatory coordination in the UAE or GCC.

Proven track record in securing multi-agency approvals for large-scale infrastructure or aviation projects.

Fluent English communication skills; Arabic is considered an advantage.

Experience in aviation or airport-related projects is considered a strong advantage.
